Top 10 Favorite Classics

This may have been the easiest top ten for me yet! These are all some of my most favorite books. I even have a tattoo of a quotation from one of them. You can guess which!

  1. Slaughterhouse-five by Kurt Vonnegut
  2. The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
  3. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
  4. Lolita by Vladimir Nobokov
  5. Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
  6. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
  7. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
  8. One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
  9. Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
  10. The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe

What are your top ten favorite classics? Hope you’re having a terrific Tuesday. :)

  1. Terrific picks! I love that you included The Outsiders. For my list I looked for classics you might not have heard of.

    1. It really is. I will be honest in saying it took more than one or two tries before I finally committed to it and trucked through a good portion of it. I think one of the most difficult things for me was that there are so many characters with the same name (as a family of descendants) that it was confusing. I spent a lot of time flipping back to that family tree in the front!
